Located in the Jacksonville, Florida area, this Network Engineer role is an opportunity for permanent employment.What you get to do every single day- Work alongside vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on implementing, optimizing, and consistently managing of networks- Sustain a secure transfer of data to various locations by way of internal and external networks- Provide top-notch support and thorough expertise in networking technology like hubs, bridges, hardware and routers- Initiate and implement network test facilities- Utilize both traditional and creative methods to engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks Requirements - Knowledgeable of network design and implementation strategies- 7+ years networking experience- Network Cabling experience highly desired- General familiarity with telecom- Demonstrated knowledge of Ip Pbx- Strong familiarity with Cisco Nexus- WANs (Wide Area Network) experience desired- General familiarity with Cisco Networking- Cisco CCNP experience highly preferred- Hands-on experience with ISP- Practical knowledge of Cisco CCNA- Cisco Security experience highly valued- LAN (local area networks) experience preferred- Demonstrated knowledge of OSPF- Comprehension of Cisco Technologies- Good understanding of Cisco Products- Background working with Cisco CCNA- Experience with VoIP- Earlier work involving Cisco Firewall- Adeptness in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)- Strong familiarity with IP Subnetting- IPv6 experience- IPv4 experience- Knowledge of Cisco ASA Firewall- Previous experience working with Cisco Routers- Practical knowledge of Fiber Optic Networks- Prior experience with Internet Service Provider- Cisco ASA experience- Knowledge of Cisco VPN- Foundational knowledge in cabling- Adeptness in PBX System Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
