Senior Network Engineer

This Network Engineer role is a permanent employment opportunity located in the Jacksonville, Florida area.Your responsibilities in this role- Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hardware, hubs, bridges and routers- Engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks by using traditional and creative methods- Maintain a secure transfer of data to a variety of locations via internal and external networks- Establish and implement network test facilities- Work alongside vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on implementing, optimizing, and consistently managing of networks Requirements - 7+ years networking experience- An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is desired- Experience with VPN Technologies- Cisco Firewall experience- Skills in WANs (Wide Area Network)- Solid understanding of vulnerability assessments and audits- Vulnerability Scanning experience required- General familiarity with Cisco Routers- Cisco CCNP experience- Solid understanding of Vulnerability Assessment- Comprehension of Layer 3 Switches- Experience with Network-layer- Earlier work involving Microsoft Azure- Proven knowledge of Cisco Networking- Proficiency in VoIP- Wide ranging experience with Meraki- Hands-on experience with Network Vulnerability- Prior experience with Vulnerability Analysis- Experience with Cisco Certified Network- Solid understanding of Cisco CCNA- Foundational knowledge in VPNs (virtual private networks)- Practical knowledge of Cisco Security- Previous experience working with LAN (local area networks)- Quality experience with Cisco VPN- Proven knowledge of Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)- Well-founded grasp of Cisco Products- Good understanding of Silverlight- Cisco Hardware experience preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
