Facility: Stevens Center Building Location: Sioux Falls, SD Address: 900 East 54th St N, Sioux Falls, SD 57104, USA Shift: Day Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40. 00 Job Summary The Principal Network Architect is an enterprise technologist that works with designated accounts and acts as a value-added advocate for technical needs. Responsible for understanding business requirements as they pertain to infrastructure solutions, qualifying opportunities and creating designs that match the requirements with appropriate products, managed and professional services. Prepares the required technical collateral to represent the solution by Requests for Information, Request for Proposals, High Level Design and Bill of Materials. Collaborates with other technical experts as required to address technology needs, presenting the proposed solution and ensuring solution delivery. Develops and maintains trusted relationships with key operational stakeholders, business partners, and subcontractors; understanding business challenges and proposing solutions. Creates and documents architectures that address business problems which can be used to ensure a smooth transition from strategy and design to delivery. Must have subject matter expertise of solutions in a single line of business (Networking, Converged Infrastructure, and Communications) and has a basic awareness of technology solutions in adjacent technologies. In addition, must be competent at positioning implementation services within the enterprise. Qualifications Bachelor s degree required in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field. Minimum of ten years experience in Networking related architecture, installation, and/or administration technical hands-on experience, including three years of experience with large enterprise projects and three years of experience with at least two of the following: Software-Defined Access (SDA), Digital Network Architecture (DNA) and Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) CCNP/CCDP or higher certification, or non-Cisco (Arista or Aruba) equivalents. When applicable, may need a valid driver's license. If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving record.
