Global Document Services (GDS) is the corporation's primary print production and distribution unit for JPMorgan Chase. Global Document Services (GDS) prints, inserts and mails over 1.1 billion mail pieces annually. GDS supports internal lines of business such as Retail, Card Services, Retirement Plan Services, Private Bank and Treasury Services. GDS produces a wide variety of products including postcards, letters, statements, checks, invoices and marketing material originated from its internal composition team as well as documents created by Output Systems.The group's primary functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Coordinating, reviewing, and extracting data files from various lines of businesses within JPMorgan for mail distribution
Offering clients the following services:
First Class Mail presentment
Standard Class Mail presentment
E-certified Mail presentment
USPS Express and USPS International Express Mail presentment
Fed Ex Letter/Packages/Freight presentment
UPS Letter/Packages/Freight presentment
Track One and Inner Office mail presentment
Providing and validating reconciliation of all files received daily and meeting client service level agreements
New business management to onboard new products
Change management to support technology and process improvements and document changes

This will enhance your skill set and provide you with new avenues for learning our business and our organization.Job DescriptionProcessing Associates will be placed into one of our processing departments, however all departments require the following commitments:
Ability to lift 40-70lbs and deliver 200 lbs. supplies utilizing industrial pull/push carts
Must be able to work overtime, as production demands
Must be able to stand/walk for an 8 to 10 hour shift
Must be able to meet and maintain Quality and Productivity standards
Must be able to adapt to a change in the work environment, included, but not limited to: daily directives from leadership, changes to standard operating procedures, and new technology
Must be team-oriented, with solid interpersonal skills
Able to maintain daily positive internal and external interactions, building upon team-driven success
Able to prioritize assigned work daily based on client Service Level Agreements
Willing to participate and maintain departmental work area maintenance (5S)
GDS Processing Department DescriptionsManual Document Processing Operations
Manually process documents end-to-end that are not supported by the automation process, including hand folding, stuffing, sealing, and metering of mail
Assist with the interpretation and capture of UPS, FedEx and USPS shipping requirements
Escalate and report all matters delaying the timely processing of printed data files
Establish and maintain strong client relationships with Print, Insertion, and Dispatch.
Print Operations
Daily coordination of document printing utilizing various state of the art printers (i.e., Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, IBM), in a Roll to Roll and Roll to Fold environment
Monitor print queues to support production prioritization based on customer service level agreements
Monitor Videk camera technology that monitors printer output
Maintain a printer’s color consistency and output quality at all times
Insertion Operations
Daily machine operations utilizing Pitney Bowes and Bell and Howell high speed insertion equipment to process statements and letters
Ongoing validation of material quality and output quality
Input vs. Output reconciliation utilizing basic math
Verify/Dispatch Operations
Move pallets of mail from production to shipping area, utilizing pallet jack equipment
Work with all mail couriers and their deadlines
Interoffice mail preparation and daily metering of mail
Data reconciliation and entry of production tickets
Warehouse Operations
Complete order requests for materials to support the production floor
Load and unload materials utilizing automated forklift machinery
Coordinate recyclable material and containers for vendor presentment
Daily scanning entry, reconciliation and inspection of all incoming materials
Quality Assurance
Validate production’s input and output on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with regulations, corporate policies, Lines of Business policies, and GDS Standard Operating Procedures
Partner with project teams, project managers, and remediation teams to assist/advise as to new product processing/testing
Assist in defining root cause analysis reporting
Analyze end-to-end processes and provide process recommendations where controls are needed
You will be required to work a variable schedule, based on production needs.
