Forklift Operator - Baytown - $16 per hour!

Job DescriptionGreat opportunity for Forklift Operators in Baytown - pay is $16 per hour plus overtime! Shifts vary, need to be flexible including weekends. Customer requires a valid driver's license.Main Tasks:

Safety First

Carry out daily inspection on equipment optimum functionality and uninterrupted operation

Handling inbound, outbound products using forklift and push pull

Loading of containers and flatbed trucks using forklift and push pull

Keep the warehouse and yard area clean

Operator the loading and unloading, using warehouse management system (WMS)

Always ensure that you wear the PPE and make sure that you work accordingly to the safety regulations

Fleet checklist to be filled in at the start of the shift, after the proper inspection

Any fault must be reported to your team leader / supervisor and the maintenance department immediately

Ensure 100% compliance to work instructions through MDT handheld

Unloading operation of materials from trucks and moving them to bin location or storage area

Offload empty pallets in the particular location

Loading of material from bin location or storage area to shipping containers or flatbed trucks

Ensure the equipment has enough LPG to use for the next shift

Ensure (0) zero damages to product & equipment

Any operational issue, inform to your team leader or supervisor

Make sure that proper shift handover is done with the next Fleet operator

Stacking pallets in the warehouse or n the storage areas

Carry out housekeeping and general maintenance duties

Operate FLT in accordance to proper FLT operating procedures

RequirementsNecessary qualifications and experience for you as a Forklift Operator:

Safety training

Ability to comply with HSSEQ regulations

Experience in warehouse and logistic operations, particularly with palletized and slip-sheet products

Driving license for forklift

Specific training by equipment vendor

Basic computer skills

Personal Skills:

Must be able to communicate, read and write in English

Ability to cope with pressure

Carefulness

Tam work ability

Methodical work

Target driven mind set
