Its integrated reservations systems, property management system, distribution and marketing services help hotels increase revenues, identify savings, and improve customer service.JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Software Developer Intern, you will be on a guided software project. It may involve working an internal tool, developing and/or maintaining our Central Reservation System (CRS) interfaces to third-party systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or travel sites such as Travelocity, Expedia and Booking.com.Assist in the development and maintenance of internal tools or maintaining Web Service API’s that’ll allow third party systems to interface/integrate with the SHS systemFollow a guided project to ensure that they are developed and implemented on schedule.Job Requirements SKILL REQUIREMENTS:o Programming experience with Object-oriented Technologies (Java, C#, C/C)o Good Analytical skills.o Good written and verbal communication skills.o Nice to Have:o Familiarity with XML, Web Services, WCF, ASMX, WSDL, SOAPo Familiarity with RDMS: SQL, Oracle and ORMs, NHibernate or Hibernateo Familiarity with Windows ServicesPREFERENCES:o Familiarity with Agile Scrum practiceso Product Life Cycle: Working knowledge of all phases of the product life cycle, including engineering specifications, gathering customer requirements, software design and development, testing (including unit, functional, systems and integration), implementation/delivery and maintenance.QUALIFICATIONSo EDUCATION: pursing degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Engineering discipline.Reasonable AccommodationSabre is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to applicants with disabilities.
