We invite you to add to it.HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DOLehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Production Supervisor for our Lake Bridgeport stone quarry located at Lake Bridgeport, TX.Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for effective operations and maintenance of the Plant during their respective shift. This position is also responsible for efficient management of the pit operation. This will include finished production as well as execution of proactive and reactive maintenance. They will be responsible for making and following up on decisions to maximize productivity of all departments.The ideal candidate will ddemonstrate strong leadership characteristics, planning and scheduling skills necessary to successfully manage a 4.0M t/y operation.The Production Supervisor will be responsible for measuring and improving key metrics which includes safety, productivity, resources, and labor.The Production Supervisor opportunity is perfect for the professional who is looking to grow & develop their career within a dynamic Aggregates leader.

Implements a “Leading with Safety” culture. Exceeds regulatory and company compliance.

Coordinates daily production and maintenance schedule. Follow-up for completion.

Ensures production is of quality material.

Ensures accurate reporting.

Maintains a clean and safe working environment in the entire facility.

Evaluates all equipment and completes maintenance requisitions.

Hosts weekly tailgate safety meetings for crew.

Issues purchase orders for necessary supplies.

Review the work to be performed and determine the best way to accomplish the work. They will consult with Leads, Supervisors, Originator, Production Supervisors, and Plant Management.

Follow up and communicates schedule to all resources: maintenance, production and contractors.

Maintains and reports accurate metrics on maintenance performance.

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Operational/Maintenance background preferred with Supervisory experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Should have good written and verbal communications skills and have demonstrated the ability to be approachable.

Good organizational skills. Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.

Can manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion.

Works closely with Assistant Plant Manager, Engineering Personnel, Maintenance Personnel and Plant Leads.

PHYSICAL ASPECTS

Employee will sit, walk and climb.

Frequently will be required to push/pull and climb ladders no greater that 20ft. at a time.

Requires balance and equilibrium when climbing ladders; walking catwalks or stair cases in elevated areas up to 110 feet in evaluation.

Requires use of feet for repetitive movements such as driving, walking, climbing stairway and ladders.

Frequently will be required to travel catwalks and regularly requires use of both hands for grasping and fine manipulations for repetitive motions.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONSWill occasionally be exposed to:

Fumes or airborne particles.

Toxic or caustic chemicals.

Extreme cold and heat (non-weather).

Risk of electrical shock.

Will frequently be exposed to:

Wet or humid conditions.

Work near moving mechanical parts.
