Atlas Survival Shelters YouTube Channel covers the building of bunkers and reviews survival gear, guns and vehicles. Atlas Survival Shelters YouTube channel currently has over 150,000 subscribers and over 75 sponsors.

We are searching for a full-time YouTube Video Editor with social media coordinating experience to help us create exciting content for our YouTube channel. This position will be responsible for editing content for our Atlas Survival shelters YouTube channel, and most importantly helping us monetize the channel as well as managing all our accounts. The ideal candidate is experienced performing all video creation tasks including pre-production, lighting, sound, shooting, and editing. The YouTube Video Editor must have experience creating viral video content thats fast-paced, humorous and packed with entertainment. Specific experience in creating exciting content for a successful YouTube channel is essential. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. We are a Pro Conservative Channel and do go over some political points of views.

HOW YOULL SPEND YOUR TIME:

Creatively editing videos to add entertainment value such as by text, sounds, graphics and music

Creating exciting video thumbnails that people want to click

Selecting music and editing based on transitions

When necessary assisting with staging, set preparation, setting up, operating cameras and other equipment

WHAT YOU HAVE:

Background in digital media, cinematography, film studies or related field

Moderate level experience with editing narrative work. (Personal or professional)

Experience shooting viral short-form video content for social media

Previously created a YouTube channel or work with current YouTubers

Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.

Demonstrated video editing ability with a strong portfolio

Ability to work in a fast paced environment on a wide variety of projects

Ability to learn quickly and is a team player

Skilled in handling quick output without losing quality

High level experience with editing on a computer using Premiere Pro

Experience with Adobe Audition, and working with audio files to get acceptable audio

Proficient with using social media for brand awareness and impressions

Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices

Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research

Good understanding of social media KPIs

Familiarity with web design and publishing

Good time-management skills

Graphic design and layout skills a plus
