Director of Quality

Director of QualitySummary:Kelly Services is seeking a Director of Quality, which is a hands-on position responsible for all Quality operations. It ensures that products are consistently produced and controlled to the quality standard appropriate to their intended use and in compliance with all appropriate quality regulations and standards of practice.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:t

Develop and oversee the company’s Quality Management System that supports manufacturing and distribution activities.t

Ensure the existence of a comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOP) documentation system that follows FDA GMP regulations.t

Ensure the development, implementation and control of budgets, plans and performance standards.t

Ensure that Continuous Operations Improvement (COI)/Lean concepts and techniques are utilized throughout the Quality operations.

Prepares and participates in all regulatory audits; serving in a lead role for the organization.

t

Oversees staffing, scheduling, and training for quality. t

Continuously recruits, develops, and coaches top talent to deliver outstanding performance.t

Acts as the “face of the company” with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and board of directors.

t

Prepares and participates in all regulatory audits; serving in a lead role for the organization.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:t

A Bachelor’s degree in scientific or a related field is needed. MBA is preferred.t

10 years of Quality management experience in personal care goods, dietary supplements, or food and beverage manufacturing environment. t

Deep level of expertise and experience working with the FDAt

Knowledge of GCP/GLP/GMP requirements for drug substance and drug product manufacturing
