Job OverviewMerchandising ManagerThe Merchandising Manager is responsible for achieving sales, gross margin and profit goals through the selection, pricing and promotion of merchandise through a team of Merchandisers.Details

Responsible for a team of merchandisers covering the South Austin area including but not limited to Kyle, Buda, and San Marcos.

Monday through Friday with availability to field calls on the weekends required.

Ability to use your own vehicle to travel around the territory as needed.

Position Responsibilities

Manage a team of Merchandisers or Merchandising Supervisors.

Conduct on the job orientation and training for all new Merchandisers.

Provide individual and group training sessions to further develop Merchandisers.

Route Merchandisers for sales and deliveries to be cost-effective and maintain a high level of customer service.

Monitor retail pricing to maintain proper retails and competitive pricing.

Utilize appropriate merchandising and management techniques to maximize the company’s return on inventory investment and space in stores.

Develop and implement a strategy, analysis and appropriate reaction sales trend in order to maximize business.

Requirements

High school diploma or general equivalency diploma preferred (GED)

3 years of merchandising experience

1 year of merchandising management/supervisory experience
