Job Description:TheMaintenance Electriciansupports Company by providing industry standard electrical/mechanical work. This position requires a person who is experienced, detail-oriented and who excels in a multi-tasking environment.Responsibilities:Install, assemble and test new machines and equipment; understand and comply with workplace safety regulations.Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate.Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, sounds, smells or atypical energy usage; perform troubleshooting for production machinery.Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electric and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner.Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service and replace electronic devices and systems.Dismantle, inspect and replace electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical partsLays-out, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjusts electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and to include panels, breakers, and conduit.Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and motors using appropriate tools and testing instrumentsTroubleshoot and repairs electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls.Promote and comply with good safety practices and habits, including but not limited to, use of all PPE, ensuring guards and safety features are working.Sets the highest ethical standards for self and othersWork effectively with team members to accomplish all tasksPrimary Job Duties:Troubleshoot electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, sub-assemblies, wiring, or assembly casings.Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specificationsMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsRequirements:Maintenance Electrician with five years industrial electrical/mechanical experienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredTechnical or professional certification preferred and/or completion of an appropriate apprenticeship programValid Drivers LicenseBasic Electrical/Industrial SafetyAC/DC Circuits and MachineryElectrical/Mechanical TroubleshootingNational Electrical CodeAbility to read electrical blueprints and schematics and apply NEC requirementsAbility to install and maintain electrical systems and controlsAbility to use appropriate hand, power and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasksAbility to work safely and efficientlyMust have own basic electrical and hand toolsMust wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)Must be able to work with minimal supervisionMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipMust be willing and able to work overtime as requiredPhysical requirements:Must be able to work in non-climate controlled environment, heat and cold.Ability to use hands to handle or feel and perform fine motor skills.Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl or climb for extended periods of time, and regularly stand for up to 10 hours per day.Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without assistanceSpecific vision requirements include close visual acuity, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and color visioPhysical requirements:Must be able to work in non-climate controlled environment, heat and cold.Ability to use hands to handle or feel and perform fine motor skills.Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl or climb for extended periods of time, and regularly stand for up to 10 hours per
