Construction Laborer

Fazzone Construction Co., Inc. is looking to fill Construction Laborer positions in Multiple Cities and Towns w/in Bexar, Comal and Kendall Counties. This is a temp, fulltime position and we are looking to fill 6 job openings for employment from 4/1/2020 to 11/15/2020.Job Duties and Requirements include: Perform tasks involving physical labor at building construction projects. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble and debris. Additional duties may include very minimal facility/equipment maintenance (cleaning, checking oil, etc.) and inventory. Ability to work at brisk pace while in extreme work conditions. (rain, freezing, 100+ degree temp., dust, equip fumes, etc) Ability to lift 50 lbs daily. On the job training provided. Transportation provided to jobsite from central location in San Antonio, TX.Terms and Conditions of Employment: $15.45 per hour at least 35 hours per week. M-Sai 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (schedule varies). Overtime is available as needed. Overtime rate is $23.18 per hour. Possibility of Performance based raise.Transportation: Employer will provide advance transportation costs for most economical common carrier for workers, either foreign or domestic, to place of employment from place of recruitment and reimburse subsistence when worker completes 50% of the work period.Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence to be reimbursed at a minimum amount of $12.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per 24 hour period (with receipts) of travel.Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.Tools, Equipment and Supplies: Employer will provide all tools and supplies, without charge or deposit, necessary to perform job duties.Miscellaneous: Employer will use a single work week as its standard for computing wages due; pay is weekly, employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law.
