Adecco is seeking Material Handling workers for temp to hire opportunities at a local client in Lewisville, TX. Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, fulfillment, or production environment is beneficial, but not required for these warehouse positions. Apply now for instant consideration! The starting pay rate for these Material Handler jobs is $12.00-13.00/hrResponsibilities for Material Handling Jobs include but are not limited to:
Unpack cell phones and batteries and sort into bins
Perform quality checks by visually and manually inspecting product
Use a computer to enter customer and product information
Charge, test, package, and label cell phone batteries
Use small amounts of alcohol to clean products
Place cell phone handsets and all required parts into packaging
Identify and label product packaging for processing into inventory
Complete shipping documents and print shipping labels
Prepare orders and equipment for shipment
Perform other duties as assigned including moving of material as needed
Responsible for following all reporting procedures for near miss, safety incidents, accidents, and employee injuries.
Participate in the housekeeping program to ensure responsibilities are met on a daily and weekly basis.
You should meet the following qualifications to be considered for a Material Handling job:
High school diploma or GED
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to toggle between multiple screens when entering data
Must be able to sit and/or stand for an 8, 10, or 12- hour shift depending on work schedule
Ability to manually lift up to 30lbs.
