Aon is looking for a .Net Full Stack Developer As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Aon's Wealth Practice located anywhere in the U.S. - Virtual even post-pandemic. In this role you will be involved with the entire application development lifecycle ranging from the initial feasibility analysis to requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support. You will partner with our internal clients, vendors, and other colleagues to drive solution development forward.This role involves hands-on, full-stack development including front-end, middle tier, and back-end. Our applications are built on the .NET stack, using technologies such as C#, .NET Core Framework, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, Develop, and Implement software solutions across the entire development stack (front-end, middle-tier, and back-end)
  • Collaborate with business and technical team members on analysis and requirements
  • Provide technical assistance to other developers
  • Work with IT teams to craft, implement, and manage infrastructure
  • Provide ongoing application support and troubleshooting
  • Assist with prioritizing, requirements gathering, project management, and quality assurance
  • Proactively identify risk areas and opportunities for improvement
  • Continually learn, implement, and apply software development standard methodologies, tools and techniques

ou Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:
  • 4+ years of C# software engineering experience, and the ability and willingness to explore other programming languages
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and new business domains

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with Java
  • Familiarity with fundamental investment concepts
  • Experience with software containers and container management
  • Exposure to actuarial principles
  • Hands-on infrastructure management experience

Education:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field

This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans.
