Entry-level Structural Engineer

Description:

Devco Engineering, Inc. has a position open for an entry-level structural engineer in our Bozeman, MT office. This position will involve detailed analysis and design of cold-formed steel structures and elements. Devco will train the successful applicant in the specifics of cold-formed steel design.

Responsibilities:

After proper training, the successful applicant will be responsible for individual projects from start to finish. Typical project scope would include exterior and/or interior cold-formed steel framing design with responsibility for defining framing scope, corresponding with client on issues and options, designing framing, directing drafting on framing details, and assisting clients during construction.

Skills:

Candidates should have a BS or MS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural analysis/design. Because of the intricacies of cold-formed steel design, applicants should have a firm understanding of fundamentals of structural mechanics.
