Work you will do: Function as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' requirements. Be responsible for developing and testing solutions that aligns with clients' systems strategy, requirements, and design as well as supporting system implementation.

Manage data pipeline process starting from acquisition to ingestion, storage, and provisioning of data to point-of-impact by modernizing and enabling new capabilities.

Facilitate Data Integration on traditional and Hadoop environments by assessing clients enterprise IT environments.

Guide clients to the future IT environment state to support meeting their long term business goals.

Enhance business drivers through enterprise-scale applications that enable visualization, consumption and monetization of both structured and unstructured data.

The Team

The US Systems Engineering Offering delivers large scale software applications and integrated systems and assists its clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. The practice aims at developing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems. It would focus on key client issues that impact the core business by delivering operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience.

5-8 years' experience working with Big Data eco-system including tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Map Reduce, Sqoop, HBase, Hive and Impala.

Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages like Python or Scala.

Experience on data lakes, datahub implementation.

Knowledge on AWS or Azure platforms.

Knowledgeable in techniques for designing Hadoop-based file layout optimized to meet business needs.

Able to translate business requirements into logical and physical file structure design.

Ability to build and test solution in agile delivery manner.

Ability to articulate reasons behind the design choices being made.

Travel up to 10% annually.

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred

Experience delivering via an Agile/Scrum methodology.

A strong Java, Spring, AWS Background, especially using AWS services like API Gateway, Cognito, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Aurora etc.

Experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Must have Drupal, PHP, React and angular experience.

Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology like MuleSoft, Spring Framework.

Strong knowledge and comprehension of standards, specifications, standards bodies (e.g., XML, UDDI, JMS, Web services, etc.).

Experience with implementing integrations with SOAP and RESTful APIs.

Experience with DevOps processes using tools like Jenkins, GitHub etc.

Understanding of infrastructure components with differentiation between on-premise and cloud offerings.

Knowledge of networking concepts like firewalls, whitelisting and blacklisting addresses.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

Strong analytical and technical skills.

Eagerness to mentor junior staff.

An advanced degree in the area of specialization.
