Our work depends on a VDI Engineer joining our team to support Government activities in Sterling, VA, Annapolis Junction, MD, or D.C. area.

As a VDI Engineer supporting the Government, you will be trusted to work on Infrastructure Engineering Services with existing and emerging virtual desktop technologies. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Designingand implementing Microsoft infrastructure solutions including Windows Virtual Desktop, on-prem, cloud, and hybrid
• Managing, deploying, and transforming to Windows 10 Modern Management (Intune, Autopilot, Windows Virtual Desktop, and etc.)
• Designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM)
• Operating Mobile Devices management systems (Android, iOS) (VMWare Workspace One, Citrix Workspace, VMWare AirWatch)
• Utilizing Microsoft 365 products (Office365, SharePoint, EM+S, etc.)
• Managing Citrix products (Virtual Apps, Virtual Desktops, ADC, Provisioning)
• Operating and executing scripting skills in PowerShell or Python

What you’ll need:

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
• Education: Bachelor of Science Degree, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years related experience
• Managing Modern Desktops (MD-101) certification preferred
• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (1Y0-312) certification preferred
• Azure certification/experience preferred
• Knowledge of cloud, networking, and enterprise architectures
• Ability to combine their technical skills, creativity, and customer focus to deliver great solutions to the customers and ensure they get the best out of our technologies and solutions.
• Expertise in Windows 10 area – Standard Operating Environment (SOE), imaging, evergreen
