SummaryYou will serve as an Assistant Chief of Staff (ACOS) of NAVY MEDICINE EDUCATION AND TRAINING CMD.ResponsibilitiesYou will perform a broad range of functions necessary to assist in the operation of an Echelon III command responsible for four subordinate Echelon IV activities and over 35 Echelon V activities.You will analyze and study a broad range of activities covering education training, general management, healthcare administration, financial and logistical issues, manpower, facilities and Plans Operations Military Intelligence (POMI) activities.You will plan and execute programs that affect both the Navy Medicine enterprise as well as all of the commands within its area of responsibility and fleet readiness.You will serve as Position Management Officer (PMO), providing program leadership for personnel management and administrative programs such as EEO, etc.You will advise the Commander and Chief of Staff on matters pertaining to the general efficiency of the organization.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing Senior Executive Leadership in healthcare administration or related fields in a military or civilian organization; Directing and administering healthcare management services including funding, contract policy, acquisition, and manpower; Analyzing activities covering education training, general management, healthcare administration, financial and logistical issues, manpower, and facilities; and Planning, implementing, and managing the day-to-day activities of an executive administrative office.
