AVT is a fast-growing technology company that is a global leader in counter unmanned aerial systems, high-tech camera systems, and software development. AVT manufactures best-in-class gyro-stabilized gimbal systems designed for a wide variety of ground, maritime, and aerial-based applications. We specialize in fully integrated solutions for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and counter drone operations for the defense and aerospace industry. Our pioneering systems are supporting airborne, ground and maritime missions around the world.The Field Service Representative will work closely with the AVT Engineering, Integrated Systems, Sales & Business Development, and Production Teams to support all customer and product support. Additionally, this individual will work with various other departments and stakeholders to support remote and on-site demonstrations, installations, and system maintenance. The Field Service Representative will:

  • Plan and execute customer trainings, demonstrations, installations, and support AVT events domestically & internationally.
  • Manage incoming customer inquiries relating to functionality, serviceability, and sustainability of deployed products.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external requests for information and NLT 24-hour responses to customer RFIs during the work week and immediately following the weekend.
  • Maintain diligent mobile phone, text, and email communication with internal company chain of command. During high priority activities, the FSR will need to be on-call 24 hours to address urgent needs. An on-call rotation will be established as the FSR team grows.
  • Learn the technical aspects of the gimbal systems, integrated CUAS systems, core components, and data communication systems.
  • Learn about customer expectations, uses cases and operational environments and constraints that AVT products are deployed in.
  • Conduct follow-up with key members of the customer purchasing and decision-making teams.
  • Provide daily reports, incident reports and pre and post event reports as required by customer deliverables and/or AVT management.
More About the Role:
  • Plan and execute maintenance, training and serviceability events world-wide for the company.
  • Assist in strategic sustainment planning for deployed products on both the component level and system level.
  • Coordinate training, operator guides, quick start guides, troubleshooting guides and updated video content for deployed systems and customers.
  • Monitor new and emerging threats to increase capability of fielded systems and communicate new requirements to AVT and its integrated system's component suppliers.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant customer support and United States Government program experience
  • Superb Analytical and problem-solving skills including technical proficiency and familiarity with engineered systems with end-user and field applications
  • Proficient working knowledge of, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, including spreadsheet creation, manipulation, calculation and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demands in a professional and calm manner with demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to handle and manage multiple data streams
  • Ability to manage and exceed at delivering on multiple high priority tasks
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Thorough understanding of product lifecycle sustainment and support
  • Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
  • Experience with hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and support of complex optical systems, radars, electronic warfare systems, C2 software, electronical power distribution systems and cabling.
  • Experience in CUAS or other DoD related industry
