Landscape Laborer

Sequoia Landscape Services, LLC is looking to fill Landscape Laborer positions in Multiple Cities and Towns w/in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Kaufman, Rockwall and Tarrant Counties. This is a temp, fulltime position and we are looking to fill 15 job openings for employment from 4/1/2020 to 11/30/2020.Job Duties and Requirements include: Use power and hand tools to maintain lawns. Rake and blow leaves; dig holes using hand tools with a max width of 24 in and a max depth of 3 ft, to plant; prune and haul topsoil and mulch. Light facility/equipment maintenance during inclement weather. Involves bending, stooping, lifting and stretching on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift 50 lbs often, work in extreme weather. On the job training provided. Transportation provided to jobsite from central location in Carrollton, TX.Terms and Conditions of Employment: $13.75 to $21.00 per hour at least 40 hours per week. M-Sa 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (schedule varies). Overtime is available as needed. Overtime rate is $20.63 to $31.50 per hour. Possibility of Performance based raise.Transportation: Employer will provide advance transportation costs for most economical common carrier for workers, either foreign or domestic, to place of employment from place of recruitment and reimburse subsistence when worker completes 50% of the work period.Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence to be reimbursed at a minimum amount of $12.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per 24 hour period (with receipts) of travel.Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.Tools, Equipment and Supplies: Employer will provide all tools and supplies, without charge or deposit, necessary to perform job duties.Miscellaneous: Employer will use a single work week as its standard for computing wages due; pay is bi-weekly, employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law.
