We have a work hard, play hard attitude and meaningful involvement in local communities.TIC-The Industrial Company is Currently Seeking Scaffolding HelperThe successful candidate shall be responsible for building and taking down scaffolds and temporary structures for buildings and industrial construction sites.Responsibilities:Along with building and breaking down scaffolds, scaffold builders also install ladders, walkways and handrails at a construction site or shipping area using a variety of power tools and lifts.Before building scaffolds, they are responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites, including removing debris and dangerous materials.Next, they unload the scaffolding materials from a truck.These materials typically include the rails, planks and ladders for the scaffold.At this point, scaffold builders check all materials and start creating scaffolds.Education, Experience or Formal Training:Must have working knowledge of various Scaffolding codes and specifications and ability to properly install all types of scaffolding.Working Environment & Physical Demands:Ability to work in conditions common to a construction site including but not limited to rain, sleet, snow, dust, mud, heat, sun, cold, noise.Ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays.Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift.Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.Climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas.
