Job Title – Java Full Stack LeadLocation – Chicago, IL/ Remote Job Description:Responsibilities:Looking for a Java Full Stack Lead who will be responsible for Leading a agile development team, The lead will also be responsible for development that will include creating and consuming REST, JSON-based API' s. As part of the Core Software Engineering team, the Senior Full Stack Java Developer will experiment with new technologies and innovative ways to solve problems. In order to be successful, the Senior Full Stack Java Developer/Lead will need to have strong collaboration and communication skills and must be comfortable operating in an agile, dynamic environment. Requirements: 6 or more years as a full stack developer with experience server side frameworks (Java / Spring / Spring Cloud / Hibernate / SpringBoot Microservices)Experience using Node JS is a plusExperience playing as a lead is a must as thisDesign and integrate with both internal and external APIs and adhere to development lifecycle best practices.2+ years of experience in Angular or other client-side JavaScript frameworks, plus jQuery and HTML5Solid grasp of web and backend application developmentStrong written and verbal skillsStrong interpersonal skills as well as strong teamwork and customer support focusStrong teamwork and customer support focusAggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills on highly complex problems; technical agilityExperience with Microservices /Rest services / Soap)Knowledge of Postgres/ Oracle / MySQL / NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J)Experience working with Agile methodologiesExperience with Node.js, React, Backbone or other client-side MVC technologies is a plusExperience with JavaScript builds tools and dependency management (npm, bower, grunt, gulp)Experience creating responsive designs (Bootstrap, mobile, etc.)Experience with unit and automation testing (Jasmine, Protractor, JUnit)Knowledge of Java build tools and dependency management (gradle, maven) Preferred Skills:Knowledge of web components, ES6 and typescriptExperience in UNIX or Linux (is a plus)Experience in Alfresco (is a plus)Experience with CSS preprocessors (less, sass)Knowledge of Domain Driven Design concepts and microservicesREST API design and implementation Knowledge of: JUnit (testing)Git and GitHubAtlassian JiraRally.
