System verification has been the core of controls engineering in maintaining the quality of release of all the New and Maintenance firmware release cycles.

Work closely with all constituents involved in product development & release activity including development, testing, program management and other entities to ensure execution & deliverables per plan

Design and develop test framework for testing embedded controls

Generation of optimized test plans, ensuring 100% traceability & coverage of requirements to test design and test scripts

Effective requirements analysis, test case design, scripting and test execution

Development of test strategies for communicating embedded controls

Analyze and debug issues found during testing and production

Assist in creating and/or tracking Test plans, test schedules and bugs

Actively investigate and study relevant technology and customer trends to anticipate and apply customer and technical needs for the Controls technology platform

Qualifications

Proficiency in C, C for Embedded firmware development and Testing is required.

Experience programming and testing multi task or multi-threaded embedded applications.

Experience in test automation tools should have done test automation

Good knowledge in embedded firmware testing, test design, test development processes and related tools. Working knowledge for developing white box and black box tests.

Experience with serial communication protocols (I2C, RS-485, RS-232, CAN)

Knowledge of networking protocols TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP and application protocols like JSON

Experience in developing and/or testing applications using RESTFull and SOAP web service architectures is an advantage

Experience with LabVIEW is an advantage

Experience with scripting languages like PERL, Python.

Knowledge of Requirements Management, Configuration Management concepts source code version control, bug tracking and traceability.

Familiarity with the HVAC industry is a plus.

BS/ MS in Electrical, Electronics or Computer engineerin

Should have 5-10 years of experience in testing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to solve problems independently

Ability to guide team members through their challenges

Flexibility to travel locally and internationally

Nice to Have:

System verification of embedded products with graphical user interface and hardware I/O’s.

Experience with HVAC domain.

Knowledge in Software Engineering concepts, Quality processes and tools.

Experience in LabVIEW RT & FPGA.
