Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Onsite Technical Support Specialist for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Tampa, FL . Responsibilities :
- Perform installations, trains, maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair of all Line of business hardware/software technologies.
- Perform activations and support Mobile devices.
- Assist with setup, and operation of audiovisual hardware as; required by end-user.
- Determine appropriate hardware/software based on corporate policy and end-user requirements.
- Respond to incidents within SLA, or within a timely manner; with appropriate level of urgency, and follow up with customers on all issues.
- Escalate incident, and questions to appropriate support groups.
- Support events, such as infrastructure changes, software releases, and BCP, etc.
- Provide timely updates to Management about service issues, when appropriate.
- Disconnect, move and reconnect desktop technology hardware for single user, multi-user, and office moves.
- Assist administration and maintenance of non-desktop Technology Infrastructure component's at the request of other Service Towers.
- May assist with, installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of Office Telephony Systems.
- Use corporate Incident Management System to record and track all support work.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software record using, Corporate Asset Management System for all corporate assets.
- Perform time tracking tasks, as required.
- May assist with the procurement of hardware and software.
- Support team's abilities and functions through positive customer relations.
- Contribute to, improvement/enhancement of processes and procedures.
- Gain additional knowledge, and stay abreast of current technologies; through employee and company-sponsored training, periodicals, and regular interaction with other team members.
- Perform related duties as assigned by management.
