Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities for the successful Accounts Payable candidate include:

Review and verify invoices and check requests; enter and upload invoices into system

Sort, code, match and set invoices up for payment

Track expenses and process expense reports

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments; prepare and perform check runs

Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records; reconcile accounts payable transactions

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

Maintain vendor files; research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues, correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

Provide supporting documentation for audits

Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion

5+ years of Accounts Payable experience

High School GED or higher. Some college preferred.

Intermediate MS Excel (Pivot Tables & VLookups), MS Word, and MS Outlook experience

Knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting procedures

Experience dealing with foreign invoices

Must possess strong attention to detail and solid communication abilities.

Additional but Not Required:

Experience leading a team

Accounts Payable Audit experience

Software/System Expertise (multiple preferred but not required):

Oracle, PeopleSoft, Great Plains, NetSuite, Timberline, Intacct, QuickBooks, Concur, Yardi, SAP, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics, Hyperion, MAS 90, ADP, JD Edwards
