DevOps Engineer

Permanent GavinHeath is partnering with a client in Denver, CO looking to add a DevOps Engineer to their team. The role is an FTE position.

Responsibilities :
  • Oversee our source control and CI/CD systems to maintain an efficient development workflow across multiple codebases and environments.
  • Manage system configuration templates and deployment scripts for Mortgage365 platform development and production environments.
  • Share performance data with stakeholders to foster stability, performance, and capacity.
  • Oversee after-hours production release events, both scheduled and emergency.
  • Support the implementation and documentation of compliance and security standards.
  • Participate in resolution of high-severity production incidents.
  • Collaborate both within and between teams on problem solving.
  • Automate common and repetitive processes to free up time for higher-level work.
  • Share project estimates and requirements to enable accurate planning with realistic timelines.
  • Work closely with Product and Operations teams to ensure systems are in line with the long-term strategy.
  • Document and complete knowledge transfer to client support teams.

Qualifications :
  • Significant experience with Microsoft DevOps tools, including Azure DevOps, VSTS, and TFS
  • Hands-on experience enabling CI/CD pipelines for software deployments supporting .Net and C# applications
  • Hands-on experience deploying Azure web apps on Azure instance with Azure pipelines
  • Strong command line/scripting skills, especially in PowerShell
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services
  • Experience/exposure to designing and maintaining configuration as code
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle, continuous integration and delivery
  • Experience creating and maintaining DevOps tools and processes for the building, branching, and deployment of Enterprise software solutions
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps technologies and processes, with some experience or exposure to deploying them within an enterprise development team
