The work week for this role will be Tuesday through Saturday. This position will also be part of the rotating on-call weekend schedule for the team. Some off hours scheduling possible.

Hybrid model - onsite/offsite

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Administer assistance to end users with technical requests and issues.
  • Apply software patches/upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
  • Manage the VoIP phone system including but not limited to toll free/local number management, call center management, extension management, huntgroup/workgroup management, call reporting, softphone software, and vendor management.
  • Complete technical documentation of the VoIP phone system and any other related systems.
  • Mobile Device Management for both Apple and Android based devices.
  • Data plan management for several hundred devices through Verizon’s network.
  • Administer all IT equipment – desktop computing, servers, printers, telephone instruments and equipment, video conferencing, switches, routers, and other general networking equipment.
  • Manage IT Technical Support documentation, ensure accuracy and most current up to date information.
  • Experience in supporting and configuring multiple different video conferencing platforms.
  • Assist in setup and configuration of firewalls, switches, WAPs, and other networking equipment.
  • Perform pro-active maintenance on all computing equipment.
  • Various special projects as needed.
  • Availability to travel to setup and configure new showroom locations.
  • Understanding of LAN and WAN support and configuration.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Information Technology or related field or 3-5 years’ experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to support a wide range of computer hardware including but not limited to Dell desktops, Dell laptops, Lenovo laptops, Microsoft surface tablets, iMacs, mac pros, MacBook pros, mac minis, iPhones, Sonicwall firewalls, HP switches, Cisco APs, etc.
  • Familiarity with remote support technologies and supporting remote offices.
  • Cable terminations of cat5e/cat6 and other general hands on experience configuring workstations.
  • Proficient in Windows 10, Apple OS X, and Android operating systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365.
  • Hardware and software support experience for a VoIP phone system.
  • General networking knowledge of IP configuration and standards.
  • Works well with tight timelines. Available on-call some nights and weekends.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Ability to travel up to 1 week per month on as needed basis.
  • Excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills. Engaging yet professional communication.
  • Experience providing customer support (level 1 / level 2) in a technical support setting a plus.
  • Quick learner. Eager to learn, be an effective team player, and make a meaningful and significant contribution to the team overall.
  • Relevant certifications a plus.
