A worldwide nutrition and at home workout company is looking to add a BI data engineer to their team, so they can continue to grow out their platform. This growing nutrition and fitness platform specializes in helping people around the world meet their body image goals. This past year the company announced a 3-way merger and it is now valued at $2.9 billion dollars. Their goal is extract insights to increase business performance in leverage customers to develop capabilities that help attract, engage and retain subscribers. As a data engineer he will be responsible for designing and implementing a new AWS based data solutions to process new data, datasets and to support various advanced analytic needs. You also create data flows to integrate with multiple internal and external sources including API's, database connections and flat files. the ideal candidate will be a person who can thrive in a fast paced environment and wants to help build a worldwide data platform from the ground up.OK This is a 100% remote PST time zone role. It is 9 month contract to hire position. Daily Responsibilities • Capture business requirements for analytics and translate complex ones into technical requirements. Collaborate with teams to design & implement end-to-end solutions. • Design and build well-engineered data systems and services to support data analytics using AWS cloud services and Snowflake DWH. • Implement data pipelines and modern ways of automating ELT data pipelines using orchestration tools Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ Years of Data Engineer Experience
  • Python or Golang Experience
  • Cloud Data Warehouse Experience (AWS Snowflake, AWS Redshift , or Google Big Query
  • Experience with ETL using Python or Airflow
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge in Unix/Linux
  • CI/CD Experience
  • Experience building web services (Rest, GraphQL, or GRCP)
