IT Project Manager OpeningUnder the direction of the PMO Director, the project manager is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, directing and overall management of multiple complex technology based projects. S/He will also be responsible for defining project objectives and developing business cases for proposed projects. In addition to managing projects, s/he will be expected to coach/advise other IT resources acting as project manager for operational projects. The project manager must be able to assist stakeholders to clarify the business challenge/objectives and set the scope of projects. S/He will also facilitate development of business cases with quantitative information. S/He may perform key business analysis functions or partner with business analysis resources. These activates requires her/him to develop relationships and partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs. S/He will define project approach and deliverables to most efficiently and effectively meet project objectives and stakeholder needs. S/He must be able to lead stakeholders and project team through requirements gathering/solution design deliverables and develop comprehensive project proposal to facilitate governance.Minimum Qualifications: Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of applicable experience in leading/managing IT focused Project Management office functions.
- Strong performance utilizing project management methodologies and practices to deliver complex projects on time, and on budget
- Working knowledge proficiency in Project Management skills: Communications Management, Cost Management, Human Resource Management, Integration Management, Procurement Management, Risk Management, Scope management, Stakeholders Management, Time Management
- Demonstrate the ability to perform Requirements Gathering, Process mapping, Quality Management, Contract management, Process improvement,
- Project management skills should be with projects of varying complexity and size
- Proficiency with Application Development Methodologies - Waterfall or Agile
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Demonstrate the ability to perform financial management and ROI calculations
- Proficiency in at least 1 PM tool
- Strategic and tactical planning
- Strong Analytic skills
- Some understanding of advanced technical components and system interactions
- Working knowledge level of proficiency in Business case development, functional and technical requirement documentation
