We are unable to sponsor for this permanent full-time role Position is bonus eligible Prestigious Enterprise Company is currently seeking a Lead Infrastructure Automation Engineer. Candidate will be responsible for the planning and development of technical support surrounding technology infrastructure capabilities including Servers, Storage, Network/Voice, Middleware, Operating System and database technologies. Candidate will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug infrastructure software programs for software enhancements and new products.
Responsibilities: Develops software automation tools including operating systems, routers, networks, voice devices, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and / or influences hardware selection. Provide on-going complex enterprise technical Level 3 support. Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of ingenuity and creativity. Develop automation to proactively ensure the stability and security of the platform Identify, Influence and Implement automation technology, process and skill changes to modernize our Infrastructure Collaborate with senior leadership to assure visible communication, risk reduction and accountability for the performance of the team Qualifications:- College Degree or 8-10 years demonstrated experience
- 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure Automation
- Accountability for continued improvement of automation across multiple Infrastructure teams
- Demonstrated team communication skills to set clear goals and effectively relay the status and accomplishments to management
- Lead current technical trends, but also anticipate the team s growth in our future state technologies
- AWS experience preferred
