Business Analyst - Direct Hire Greensboro, NC (Hybrid Schedule - Onsite/Remote) Salary: $60-80k/yr (Depending on Experience) NOTE: U.S. Citizens, and those authorized to work in the U.S (without Sponsorship) are encouraged to apply. We are unable to consider OPT/CPT or /H1B Visa orCandidates for this position. The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and documenting system features and user needs. The goal of Business Analyst is to understand and document current system procedures and identify areas for improvement. A thorough understanding of Business Systems processes and client requirements is necessary prior to recommending changes related to implementing new systems or major feature enhancements. An excellent Business Analyst must have good technical and business systems knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the requirements and recommend solutions. They must also be customer-oriented and patient, to deliver an exceptional support experience to our customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
  • Bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budgets.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
  • Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Provides analytic support by coordinating data extraction and data interpretation.
  • Participates in Integration Testing and Functionality Testing.
  • Assist in identifying workflow security risk areas and develop processes to mitigate that risk such as maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Maintains and writes user documentation and release notes.
  • Meet with project team regularly to review project progress and resolve any issues.
  • Research questions and investigate errors and problems, track issues and follow up with affected staff and vendors as required.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the system and workflow to suggest any necessary improvements along the way with the goal being to maximize efficiency and reduce costs but without sacrificing the customer service experience.
  • Create and monitor Key Metrics for all systems to ensure productivity and maximum performance.
  • Being at work and on time is important to this position because the duties of this job are completed daily. Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all employees.

  • 3+ years of experience of business analysis, project management, or project analysis roles
  • 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional, collaborative environment; ability to bring different groups of people together to collaborate in a community setting and requirements gathering.
