Sr. DevOps Engineer with Vault Certified

Position :: Sr. DevOps EngineerLocation :: NYC preferable or Remote and willing to travel on need basisDuration :: Long Term.As a DevOps/Site-Reliability Engineer. -you will have at least 12-15 years of experience in industry standard cloud and DevOps technologies. Experience with one or more of the cloud providers is a must – Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform and should be HashiCorp Terraform associate or CHIP -level certified. Focused upon development, automation, architecture, and culture. Emphasis on application delivery through serverless and microservice architecture. Thorough proficiency with leading industry standard tools, including major Cloud Services, Terraform, Serverless-Framework, Jenkins. Automation and Infrastructure-as-Code advocate, constantly seeking the bleeding edge of technology with a holistic approach to design and implementation. Continuing to move up the stack with Typescript, and Python. Developed soft skills, including mentorship, communication, documentation, and standardization. Change agent, adopting DevOps and agile culture.

• Oversaw the technical direction for all cloud infrastructure and DevOps products.
• Developed and oversaw company-wide adoption of serverless technologies.
• Focused on microservices and serverless architecture.
• Pushed for and developed CD (continuous deployment) through trusted testing practices, monitoring, and rollback mechanisms.
• Implemented and developed CI/CD guardrails for linting, security, and company best practices. Templated deployment process to span multiple projects. Developers are empowered and know what to expect through the process.
• Security first mindset in all projects: Least privilege, encryption everywhere, defense in depth.
