Overview BNY Mellon Government Securities Services Corporation seeks a Group Manager, Application Development in New York, NY, to provide analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware, technology, and tools. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: Defining Usability standards, creating UI Mockups using Balsamiq, and developing real time GUI solutions to enhance user experience and improve operational efficiency; Designing, developing, and implementing fund transfers for asset servicing to enable clients to send and receive Federal wires/chip wires and to provide periodic principal and interest payments using Java, Spring, and Angular; Performing data mapping and data analytics leveraging moogsoft, cloud prober and Application Programming Interfaces (API) to analyze workflows and develop integrated alerting, insights, and technical solutions; Defining, implementing, and optimizing end of day batch jobs used for generating statements, reports, and client extracts; Executing corporate actions using the Quartz framework; Creating customizable dashboards for measuring Key performance Indicators (KPI) by integrating with Turnilo and Apache superset and performing automatic comparisons with predefined baselines; Executing UI performance testing comprising of reference data and transactional screens using JMeter; and Executing message volume testing to measure message processing performance using Splunk and AppDynamics.
