- Hybrid schedule (3days onsite and 2days remote).
- Looking for candidates in Santa Clara Valley or Austin, TX.
- Solid understanding of QA principals, models, types of testing etc. and have an engineering mindset to solve the complex QA problems.
- Develop test plans, facilitate creation of test cases and test scripts, root cause analysis on multiple projects of varying size.
- Create, maintain and report testing metrics including SLAs and KPIs.
- Experience in architecting approaches and solutions, frameworks and plugin for QA in the DevOps pipeline.
- Have sound experience implementing code coverage and code quality tools.
- Have a developer mindset in creating developer productivity tools and solutions.
- Solid experience developing test strategies, refactor, write modular code and build infrastructure.
- Should take responsibility in monitoring the overall quality of the product not from functional point of view but from the non-functional aspects as well.
- Should be tool & tech agnostic and should be able to write code in different languages.
- Should have worked on implementing strategy to perform automation of end-to-end business process involving various systems written in different tech.
- Should be able to multitask, be self-motivated and driven individual who want to experiment and is comfortable working in a global, matrixes, fast-paced environment.
- Continuously improve testing best practices and methods.
- Influence teams to make right decisions on Go/No go exit criteria based on Test cycle performance and risk mitigation.
- Experience developing in Python or Java, familiar with databases, SQL, and scripting languages. Solid foundation in computer science, with proficiencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
- 3+ years' experience as a SDET.
- QA experience required in solving complex QA use-cases across UI/API/Mobile automation, performance engineering.
- Proficient working with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python or Javascript.
- Should have interested in applying machine learning in QA and build models to do predictive analytics.
- Proficient working with frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, WebDriverIO, Robot, Rest-Assured, Cucumber.
- Proficient working with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Proficient building automation frameworks in Java, Python or Javascript and idea of scaling them.
- Have understanding working with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient working with code coverage and code quality tools.
- Proficient setting up pipelines in Jenkins and understand overall DevOps process.
- Should have knowledge working with various kind of databases.
- Should have knowledge of Xtreme Programming principals.
- Should be a self-starter and highly motivated individual who can identify areas of improvement.
- Should be able to mentor and scale teams across and be a role model.
- Should be interested in creating tools and utilities to increase developer productivity.
