Description:Position Description:- Oversight and Design of rack layout of networking equipment.- Generate implementation plans and provide technical leadership and guidance during deployment activities- Work closely with project management, design and deploy engineering and the rest of the engineering team to identify in advance potential problems in network installations, including in the areas of facility power (AC/DC), cooling, rack layout and cable management- Own network documentation, updating and maintaining network drawings, rack layout plans, and design tool data- Analysis of as built network documentation, plan augments and decommission activities. Skill/Experience/Education:Mandatory: - Excellent communication skills- Experience generating deployment engineering documentation and processes- Experience working with local exchange carrier (LEC), telecom service providers, landlords, electricians, and construction operators- Experience in telecommunications, OSP, ISP, AC/DC power systems, and relay rack/cabinet/cage construction- Experience in telecommunications, particularly at carrier class scale, with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer 2/3 routers and data services.- Experience in a data center or PoP environment.
