RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Owner. This position is open to candidates in Charlotte, NC, Denver, CO, and Saint Louis, MO.Summary:The Product Owner within our Data Integration team you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive approach to deliver one or more products, capabilities, services, or enhancements in accordance with the product roadmap. This role works with Product Managers, Business Leaders, and a cross-functional Scrum team to deliver the product to the client. The Product Owner manages the overall effort to deliver products, capabilities, services, and enhancements using the strategic vision as well as established key performance indicators. This role also understands the functionality and determines the release sequence, and prioritizes and maintains the product backlog and performs just-in-time story elaboration with the development team.Responsibilities: Lead the successful delivery of the product roadmaps for multiple teams and/or areas within Data Integration and Data Platform Partner with Product, Technology, and Executive Leadership to shape the strategy and roadmap for products directly managed Manage the product roadmap and backlog for one or more product lines Lead the quarterly planning efforts for the assigned areas Work within their Data Application(s) teams to decompose epics, themes, and features into system-level stories and/or designs Accurately report on current project status on a weekly basis to Product and Technology leadership Convey the vision and goals at the beginning of every initiative, iteration, and throughout the product life cycle Identify, understand and communicate business needs and functionality to application development teams in order to shape the successful implementation of new products and features Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in application features, behavior, and high-level architectureREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field is required 3+ years of experience working in data management, data warehousing, data platform/data integration or product development in a product or technology role Strong communication, planning, critical thinking, and organizing skills are required; Must be able to analyze data, solve problems, make decisions, and continuously improve Experience with cloud architecture Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferred Experience working on large data solutions with Snowflake, Mongo, NoSQL, Redis, etc. Extensive experience in translating customer requirements into Agile user stories Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) required Experience with Product planning, Agile productivity, and management toolsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
