Our client has an immediate need for a

Scrum Master IV who will be responsible for collaborating with engineering, product management, and quality assurance to deliver value on concurrent projects. Working in conjunction with an Agile Coach, continuously seeking to improve processes and practices.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems, or related disciplines
  • 7+ years of experience with agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban
  • Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (diverse team sizes, organizations, cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc)
  • Experience with other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc
  • Experience with widely successful Agile techniques: ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Experience with the technologies used by the team CSM or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, values, and procedures
  • Experience with Agile PLM tools like JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, etc
  • Experience with backlog tracking, Scrum and Kanban based metrics, task definition, and story splitting
  • Experience in sprint & release planning, running demos and retrospectives
  • Experience in the financial services industry a plus

Responsibilities:
  • Providing support to the Product Owner and Development Team, and lead by example
  • Guiding and coaching delivery teams to self-organize and achieve objectives, in partnership with and Agile coach
  • Working effectively with management and team members to clarify needs and plan delivery of major product changes, future versions and new products
  • Working to proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, ensuring that they are identified, coordinated, mitigated or escalated as necessary
  • Working with Product Owner and Development Team to facilitate effective sprints by removing impediments and ensuring that stories are ‘sprint ready’
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and information radiation
