- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years Software, DevOps or Network engineering experience supporting high availability systems
- 2+ years cloud infrastructure experience
- 2+ years of automation experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python or Shell
- 2+ years of CI/CD pipeline experience
- 2+ years of containerization experience
- 2+ years of experience with monitoring and alerting
- Knowledge of the software development processes and methodologies
- Understanding of system, networking and security concepts
- Strong problem solving /analytical skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Available to provide on-call support 24 hours per day, 7 days a week as needed
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
- Lead others in the build out of infrastructure as code
- Lead integration efforts of new technologies which will further enable the organization or development teams to succeed
- Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the CI/CD pipelines to mitigate obstacles for deploying solutions in a secure and timely manner
- Identify monitoring and alerting deficiencies and propose solutions to mitigate those deficiencies
- Engage at an enterprise level to identify areas for leveraging new technologies and adding automation to the benefit of the organization
- Retain expertise in cloud concepts, especially laaS/PaaS with exposure to virtualization technology in support of building our enterprise container infrastructure
