Java Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is looking for multiple Java Developer positions, Mid and senior level. These positions are remote for now but will probably go to a hybrid work model in the future. No specific date mentioned yet. This candidate can sit in either Irving, TX or Tampa, FL. The compensation for mid-level is $120k Max (Depends on experience level). The compensation for senior level is $160k Max (Depends on experience level).Key Tasks: Java Developer will conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users As a Java Developer, you will utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems Java Developers serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members Java Developers deliver high quality technical solutions to multiple global stakeholders in a fast paced environment Manage multiple tasks and dependencies effectively in order to deliver quality, on-time solutionsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience 5-8 years of software development experience Java developers with Cloud experience will get preference over other candidates Expert knowledge of Core Java 8, J2EE, Spring, Spring Batch, Hibernate, Spring MVC, RESTful Web services, Workflows Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, databases, O/S Experience developing high-performance multi-threaded applications Thorough understanding of server side integration, Restful, Spring MVC, web services, workflows Good knowledge of design patterns and providing solutions to complex design issues Good skills in web servers such as WebSphere, Tomcat Able to provide architectural solutions to Internal Audit platform needs Experience with source code management tools such as SVN, Git/Bitbucket Experience in Cloud Technologies Hands on experience in Servlets, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, WebSphere /Tomcat, JS/TS Should have good exposure to Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL) Knowledge or experience in Big data technologies and frameworks is an added advantage Hands-on experience with designing and developing world class technology solutions; Be comfortable introducing new technologies and new ideas as required Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications Experience in managing and implementing successful projects Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
