DescriptionPosition: Systems AdminDuration: 3 – 6 Month Contract to HireLocation: Dallas, TX 75234Pay: Will Convert at $80,000Notes: Generalist, this company is building out a new environment and needs someone for the project as well as to stay and maintain the environment going forwardProject info: Implement a 25ish machine medical lab office move and spin up an MDF with new servers, network, power, and two new IDF for network and power while migrating over some older 2k3 HP’s and a 2012 non R2 DC 3 to 5 years’ experience providing administrative support in a technical environment MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CompTIA A+, not necessary, can be substituted with documented experience Experience with the following OS/Software: (NT4.0, Win2000, ME, XP, Vista, 7, 8, Server 2003, Server 2008, 2008 R2), Microsoft Office 2010 (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access), Adobe Acrobat, and Exchange Outlook Web Access, Linux, Unix Experience upgrading and repairing workstations. Understand of networking concepts, OSI model Configure, optimize, fine-tune, monitor OS software and servers Perform system backups and recovery Configure and deploy servers Manager VM infrastructureRequirementsRequirements: Possess excellent written and oral communications skills Possess excellent customer service skills and etiquette Be detail oriented and provide consistent follow-through Possess the ability to multi-task accurately and efficiently Must be able to pass a background check as we work with security regulated industries such as municipalities, healthcare entities, banks, etc.Technology doesn't change the world.
