He/she is relied upon by executive management for analysis supporting the marketing strategy, budget, forecasting, volume, customer universe and segmentation, as well as various ad-hoc product needs. This information gained from the analysis is used to impact the overall business strategy. This individual manages the relationship between the Product, Credit, Marketing and Lead Generation teams and must effectively influence these parties, offering valuable insight and providing remediation when necessary. He/she supports the private student lending marketing budget. Must provide innovation and insights to drive opportunities across marketing, offer, channel and engagement strategies. Individual is responsible for establishing the proper test and control environments to ensure all initiatives are set up to be measured for success. The incumbent must manage a team responsible for all product, marketing and portfolio analysis and reporting. The team assists vendor partners and internal IT teams with various business initiatives such as enhancing lead generation. The position also works with cross-functional partners on all optimization efforts. The individual has management experience with the demonstrated ability to manage the work processes and output of his/her own team by recommending and guiding the team to use the appropriate analytic methodology.What You'll DoDescription% of Time Spent Manage the output of a team by recommending and guiding the appropriate methodology· Reviews team’s queries and create queries using SQL or SAS· Ensures work is timely and appropriate for intended audience· Develops thorough knowledge of company and product linesManages multiple competing priorities

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Sciences, Engineering, or relevant experience 8+ years analytic strategy development experience 5-7 years management experience 3 years extensive expertise in SQL and/or SAS Proficiency with MS Office suite software Prior experience in consumer lending verticals Exceptional oral, written, and formal presentation skills Balanced expertise in analytics, relevant supporting technology, and business acumen Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills Experience managing projects, including ability to provide direction to others and successfully generate results Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and present to executive management Ability to turn data into actionable insights Demonstrated ability to influence others without direct authority or reporting structure Accountability - Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.
