We have a clear mandate to ship products at scale. In particular, seemingly impossible products that define new categories and that advance Facebook's mission of connecting the world.The Portal SW TPM team works with a cross-functional set of partners and delivers innovative SW technology that has been pivotal for the success of our products. We are looking for a TPM Manager to support a team of Dogfood (User Trials) and Release TPMs. The ideal TPM Manager candidate is an experienced program execution leader with deep technical acumen, and demonstrated ability to grow, scale, and support a fast-growing team in a dynamic product space. You are a leader who can win trust, establish alignment with an array of cross-functional partners, and exert influence across all phases of the product development lifecycle. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to manage the team, develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.Required Skills: Grow and support a team of TPMs. Provide performance reviews, continuous feedback, coaching, and career development.

Create and foster a team culture of executional excellence and high product quality.

Effectively collaborate with and influence a team of cross-discipline leaders to set and achieve product objectives.

Develop and manage cross-functional programs, facilitating relationships across multiple teams to identify risks, manage dependencies, and optimize resources.

Lead efforts to create transparency, predictability, and accountability in all areas of execution.

Break through deadlocks, maintain clarity on priorities, and drive progress on execution.

Drive technical excellence within the team, coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and test plans.

Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and product development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment.

Influence program/product direction and simplify complexity.

Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years experience leading, developing, and scaling TPM or engineering teams.

Experience managing Android app development projects, cloud/backend infrastructure and Release Management.

Experience in managing people, growing teams, and developing a team culture.

Experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to launch and support.

Demonstrated experience bringing clarity to highly ambiguous, complex products and programs.

Demonstrated experience in making technical and product tradeoffs, balancing business needs and technical constraints.

Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated systems and product thinking, and thought leadership.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on consumer electronics products.

Experience managing Dogfooding (User Trials) programs.
