100% Remote Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a DevOps/Cloud Engineer who will perform builds and complete product related tasks in an AWS environment.This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage process automation within AWS and data center environments.
  • Provide expert support for developers by building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines and software deployments.
  • Collaborate with other product and support teams, to assist with complex technical and development projects/tasks.
  • Create and manage product infrastructure code stacks and assist in developing standard (best practices) templates for base cloud infrastructure provisioning.
  • Support for services and applications related to the business requirements.
  • Work with development teams with scalability, performance and functional requirements within a virtual/cloud platform.
  • Develop and assist with various ops/engineering related tasks, as necessary within the organization.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience working with Linux-based infrastructures.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes architecture.
  • 2+ years of experience with administering and deploying CI/CD using Gitlab.
  • 2+ years of experience with IaC tools such as Terraform.
  • 2+ years of experience with scripting languages, such as Python.
  • 1+ years of experience working with AWS API Gateway (REST API) and Cognito.
  • 1+ years using configuration management tools (SaltStack).

Preferred Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of GitLab pipeline builds
  • Experience with monitoring tools, such as CloudWatch and Datadog.
  • Experience in building and deploying Docker images.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with Java programming language.
  • Experience with Dremio data platform.
