Potential for Remote Work: NoDescription We are looking for candidates passionate about craftsmanship, teamwork, and delivering user capability to join SAIC supporting the Air Force weather community on the Technology Application Development & Sustainment (TADS) contract. The successful candidate will provide hands on network engineering expertise with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and management of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewall. Qualifications Requirements:
  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to install, configure, and manage network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Familiarity with Cloud computing and open source solutions
  • Advanced Knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems and Administration
  • Advanced knowledge of application clustering / load balancing concepts and technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues
  • Experience performing network monitoring and network traffic optimization
  • Must have good communication skills, readily and agreeably work in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban, Lean, Theory of Constraints)
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CompTIA Security+, Network+, CSSLP, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with 557th Weather Wing
  • OSS security scanning tools such as OWASP APIs
  • Experience with DevOps and delivery pipelines
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
