Job Description:

Analyzes information from system users and develops solutions that meet the scope and objectives of the system along with addressing system needs. Exercises independent judgement and works with very limited supervision.

Prepares complex flow charts, models, and procedures along with conducting feasibility studies to design possible system solutions. Conducts complex form design and layout activities. Performs preparation of systems specifications.

Use knowledge of OMB Circular A-11 and Federal Budget Processes to communicate effectively with Budget Directorate staff in order to understand and design software solutions for Budget staff to support the CBP Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process. Use knowledge of SAP Public Budget Formulation (PBF) or BFX software to help design solutions to solve problems in planning, budget formulation and execution

Alternately, use knowledge of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) to support planning, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting

Document user requirements for solutions in the form of a user story for prioritization and implementation Check implementation of solution and verify against requirements Manage project schedule and budget and set expectations accordingly with the client and team. Provide status reports and management briefings as needed. Oversee and augment the development of new analytical reports being developed with PowerBI.

Occasional travel to Indianapolis (once/month) possible

Bachelor’s degree preferred and 8+ years of relevant experience
