- Solid understanding and experience of security solutions including network access control and next-gen firewalls
- Understand and experience with SD-WAN technologies
- Solid understanding and experience of Cisco routing and switching using Cisco 6500/4000 and Nexus 6K/2K
- Understanding of wireless solutions, preferably Cisco Meraki
- Experience with physical network infrastructure such as equipment racking, stacking, patching, cabling (including fibre optics) and labelling
- Experience configuring routing protocols such as EIGRP and BGP
- Experience with various telecommunication technologies
- Experience with network monitoring technologies and concepts such as SNMP
- Network troubleshooting and remediation
- CCNP or equivalent
- 3-5 years commercial experience in a technical role supporting a substantial sized user-base or/and large number of sites
- Exposure to ISO27001
- Knowledge of SANS Critical Security Controls
- Experience supporting VMware ESXi from a network perspective
- Knowledge of hosted VOIP solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
- ITIL knowledge, exposure, or certification
