DescriptionPosition at Clear Capital Location(s) Reno, NV Clear Capital is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee the company's sourcing, including the sourcing of data, third-party engineering and software licensing. The position is responsible for finding and evaluating suppliers, products and services, negotiating contracts and acquiring the most cost-efficient deals without compromising on quality. The Procurement Manager will report to Finance Leadership and will work with key company employees to determine their product and service needs, will perform all procurement activities including vendor pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements and management of the purchasing and payment approval process. What You Will Work On
- Develops sourcing strategies and alternatives in conjunction with key business partners to understand and ensure achievement of business requirements.
- Develops and negotiates long-term relationships with strategic suppliers, including third-party data, tech development, engineering and software licensing firms.
- Leads regular meetings with cross functional teams to ensure objectives, cost savings and deliverables are on target.
- Ensures all necessary legal, compliance and risk management approvals associated with sourcing solutions have been obtained.
- Maintains schedule of sourcing contract maturities to ensure timely engagement of internal stakeholders, supplier review and bid process for maturing contracts.
- Ensures compliance with company procurement approval processes before purchases are committed and that appropriate approvals are obtained and documented prior to payment.
- Optimizes inventory levels of staff on-boarding equipment.
- Ensures assigned suppliers are meeting agreed upon service requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or related discipline is preferred.
- 8+ years of purchasing, strategic sourcing or a related field preferred.
- Experience with sourcing of data, global third party engineering resources, computer hardware and software licensing preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites .
