- The ideal person will have an interest in both digital and analog CMOS design along with a basic understanding of semiconductor physics.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years' experience
- CMOS circuit design fundamentals
- Proficiency with analog and digital electronic test equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
- Maters of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of CMOS device physics and fabrication processes
- Experience with Cadence integrated circuit design software
- Experience with semiconductor wafer level test equipment
- Design and layout of CMOS digital circuits at the transistor and gate level
- Design and layout of analog circuits such as Op Amps, voltage regulators and current sense devices
- Analog and digital simulations at the circuit and chip level
- Wafer level measurements to verify designs
- Participate in chip definition and floor planning activities
- Interfaces directly with engineers at external semiconductor wafer fabs
- Self-motivated, able to learn quickly and apply new technical concepts
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with an attention to detail
- Demonstrate solid planning, documentation, and communication skills
- Effective at interacting with team members from other disciplines
- Excellent project management skills required to plan and execute wide range of tasks and projects
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Available for domestic and international travel; expected travel should not exceed 5%
