Job Details
  • Engineer will design mixed signal integrated circuits for use in microfluidic applications. This will include schematic capture, layout, physical
verification and simulation. After fabrication you will make electrical measurements using wafer level probe stations.
  • The ideal person will have an interest in both digital and analog CMOS design along with a basic understanding of semiconductor physics.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience
  • CMOS circuit design fundamentals
  • Proficiency with analog and digital electronic test equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
Desired Qualifications
  • Maters of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Understanding of CMOS device physics and fabrication processes
  • Experience with Cadence integrated circuit design software
  • Experience with semiconductor wafer level test equipment
Key Job Duties
  • Design and layout of CMOS digital circuits at the transistor and gate level
  • Design and layout of analog circuits such as Op Amps, voltage regulators and current sense devices
  • Analog and digital simulations at the circuit and chip level
  • Wafer level measurements to verify designs
  • Participate in chip definition and floor planning activities
  • Interfaces directly with engineers at external semiconductor wafer fabs

  • Self-motivated, able to learn quickly and apply new technical concepts
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with an attention to detail
  • Demonstrate solid planning, documentation, and communication skills
  • Effective at interacting with team members from other disciplines
  • Excellent project management skills required to plan and execute wide range of tasks and projects
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Available for domestic and international travel; expected travel should not exceed 5%
