Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle As an Azure Solutions Architect you will plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud IaaS and PaaS solutions. The Azure Solutions Architect will act as the technical subject matter expert on both cloud and on-premises systems and applications, applying technical expertise and business acumen in Microsoft cloud offerings to promote innovative solutions for NFM. - Collaborate: Proactively provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices - Considers the art of the possible, compares various architectural options based on feasibility and impact, and proposes actionable plans
- Support: Provide insight and direction on roles and responsibilities required for solution operations - Guidance of developers and reviews of as-built configurations during construction phase

Qualifications Experience Preferred • Bachelor's degree with area of specialization in Information Systems or related field. • 5 years leading teams • 10+ years overall IT industry experience • 3+ years in a solution architecture role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms • Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities • Solid understanding of modern DevOps practices, including automation, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and continuous integration methodologies • Knowledge of authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC • Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc. • Experience building and supporting mission critical technology components with DR capabilities • Experience with multi-tier system and service design and development for large enterprises • Extensive, real-world experience designing technology components for enterprise solutions and defining solution architectures and reference architectures with a focus on cloud technologies • Experience with Azure DevOps Service (. e.g. Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, ) • Excellent technical architecture skills, enabling the creation of future-proof, complex global solutions preferred • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills that are required to operate as a leading member of global, distributed teams that deliver quality services and solutions preferred • Ability to rapidly gain knowledge of the organizational structure of the firm to facilitate work with groups outside of the immediate technical team preferred • Knowledge and experience in IT methodologies and life cycles that will be used preferred • Familiar with solution implementation/management, service/operations management, etc. preferred • Maintain close awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application for service offerings and products preferred • Basic computer skills plus knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs. • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, drug screen and criminal background checkEEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
