That’s why all of our employees enjoy access to dynamiccareer opportunities across different fields and industries.Are you ready to help us make the future?Responsibilities: Provides a leadership role and integrates environmental programs into the plant processes to maintain RC14001 certification at the site.Implement self-auditing programs to ensure 100% compliance with all internal and external requirements.Maintain and continuously improve regulatory compliance assurance process through overall direction of the site’s environmental programs.Evaluate, develop, and effectively implement new environmental work processes or procedures.Develop site environmental procedures and help communicate and implement these at the site.Facilitate Root Cause Investigations for environmental related incidents as required.Provide expertise for and review Environmental Management of Changes (MOCs) prior to submitting. Perform Environmental reviews for plant MOCs.Establishes environmental objectives and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations at the facility.Works to establish pollution prevention and waste management activities to reduce the facility's environmental impact and liability.Successfully integrates environmental processes into plant operations to ensure compliance with legal, other requirements and required reporting.Identify opportunities and drive improvement opportunities for supported plant(s) to achieve assigned goals (ex., waste or emission reduction, loss of primary containment reduction).Work with plant management to help ensure timely and complete root cause investigations of all environmental incidents, as well as timely and sustainable closure of all environmental corrective actions.Educate site personnel on environmental requirements and standards and assure compliance.Provide expertise/guidance in environmental regulations applicable to the respective plants and in specific requirements of plant operating permits.Provides coaching and professional development to all employees to maintain environmental compliance at the facility.Complete and submit required regulatory and periodic emission reports on time.Prepares and submits routine environmental reports (discharge monitoring reports, deviation reports, annual compliance certifications, emissions inventory, etc…) to regulatory agencies as required by regulations and permits. Anticipate regulatory impacts and partner with the broader HSE functional team to develop & implement strategies for compliance with legal and other requirements.Participates in advocacy activities at the community, legislative, regulatory and trade association to minimize impacts on plant goals.Interfaces with regulatory agencies relative to HSE inspections, inquiries and associated corrective action plans.You Must Have:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or degree in science Minimum 5 years experience in environmental management, specifically in a chemical or petrochemical environment is preferred.We Value:Background on developing air and wastewater permits.
